Anime

Not all timestamps are accurate, but everything I've ever watched is listed on my AniList profile. Watching only with original voices and english subtitles, otherwise I can't comprehend what's going on. Also, my humble VN experience is listed on VNDB.

Originally I got here from visual novels (in which I got from VA-11 Hall-A). I was actually trying to refrain of touching it because I'm afraid of turning into a weeb over time (it doesn't help that long time before I even started interacting with any JP related stuff I was called a hikki by several people tooltip-iconPeople usually don't know what exactly it means, but since I'm a houseplant, it kind of suits me). Which is concerning, on average I enjoy anime more than usual movies, so maybe I should give up and embrace my fate. Welp, nowadays it seems like every second generic human watches anime from time to time, so since I'm not interested in learning JP, travelling to Japan, buying merch and simping artificial characters, I might be fine, but the tendency is worrying.

My score range here is even more broken than for movies because 7/10 is the same score for "quite boring but deep" and "silly thing without any sense but funny", which is almost everything.

During the autumn 2025 I went off my usual limits and watched any Japanese cartoons I considered potentially interesting, so I discovered plenty of 8/10 series and probably doubled my tracked history list. That means there is no reason to watch movies (since most of them are under 7/10, and for me 8/10 cartoons > 8/10 movies) and to do practically anything else, which gradually leads to burnout, but there are reasons for that.
